Job Description:
As a Busser at The Tavern on Broadway], you will play a vital role in ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests. You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the restaurant, assisting with table setups, and supporting the Front of House (FOH) team. Key responsibilities include:

Table Maintenance
Clear and reset tables efficiently to prepare them for new guests.
Remove used dishware, glassware, and utensils promptly.
Wipe down and sanitize tables and chairs to maintain a clean dining area.
Dishwashing
Assist with dishwashing duties during peak periods or as needed.
Ensure that dishwashing stations are organized and cleaned regularly.
Follow safe handling procedures for glassware and dishware.
Bathroom Cleaning
Keep restrooms clean and well-
maintained throughout the shift.
Replenish essential supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
Monitor and address any cleanliness issues promptly.
Table Setup
Assist with setting up tables, including arranging table settings and linens.
Ensure that tables are properly set with silverware, glassware, and condiments.
Floor Care
Sweep and mop floors to ensure a tidy restaurant environment.
Vacuum carpeted areas as needed.
Address any spills or debris promptly to prevent slip hazards.
Water Service
Keep water glasses filled for guests.
Be attentive to guest needs and provide water service promptly.
Flatware and Glassware
Polish flatware, glassware, and other dining utensils to maintain their cleanliness and shine.
Ensure that all items are properly stored and readily available for table setups.
General Cleaning
Participate in general cleaning and maintenance tasks as assigned.
Work collaboratively with FOH and kitchen staff to maintain cleanliness standards.
Qualifications:
Minimum age of 16 years old.
Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
